Resident Goals
At Choices Recovery House, each resident is encouraged to create his or her own personal set of goals to achieve while a resident of Choices. Additionally, Choices has established a broad‐based list of goals and objectives all residents strive to achieve while a resident.
The following is an example of those goals set forth by Choices Recovery House. Choices is structured in such a way as to help each resident reach these goals as well as their own personal goals while on the path of recovery.
- Learn to live life on life's terms.
- Recover and build self esteem.
- Become able to enjoy a new sense of freedom without the use of drugs or alcohol.
- Learn to become responsible, productive members of the community.
- Attain spiritual, physical, and mental health.
- Learn to develop healthy personal relationships.
- Develop daily living skills such as menu planning, grocery shopping, and everyday household duties.
- Become a reliable employee.
- Become financially responsible.
