A Testimonial from Karen
“I had been to upwards of 15 detoxes and mental institutions before, and two other recovery houses. I had lost several jobs, had been homeless, and I was truly hopeless and on the verge of suicide. Luckily, I made the decision to give recovery one more shot. I entered into Choices on February 22nd, 2004. This recovery house provided me with the structured and supportive atmosphere I needed in early recovery. […] Since then, my life has absolutely come back together for me. I am now a junior in college, am on the deans list and have a wonderful job in my field. I still go to AA meetings and now get to sponsor some of the women who are in Choices. I’ve learned that life is truly a gift.”
